Mussarat B., lived a life of misery behind closed doors in a conservative family set-up. She was not allowed to step out of the house much where she herself started to believe that she is a liability. Providentially, someone told her in-laws about theTailoring Training given by DEW, they allowed her to acquire the skill. This was a major breakthrough in her life. After completing the course Mussarat has started one tailoring unit where she stiches designer clothes. Her tailoring unit has set off successfully, which has provided her financial independence and dignity.
Varsha belongs to a needy family; her father is as a daily-wages worker and mother works as a cook. They could not meet ends as they have debts after the marriage of their six daughters. All their earning was spent on paying their debts and their survival was difficult. Meanwhile Varsha the youngest in the family joined the DEW tailoring training program. The training helped her learn to design and stitch. She is now an independent woman who earns her livelihood and supports her family.
